Olivia Jade became widely known through YouTube, Instagram, fashion, and beauty content, while Isabella, often called Bella, has pursued acting and fashion-related projects. Their family also became central to the 2019 college admissions scandal, which brought intense media scrutiny to the sisters.
Here is a current, fact-focused look at Lori Loughlin daughter searches, including who her daughters are, what they do, and what has happened in the family since the scandal.
Who Are Lori Loughlin’s Daughters?
Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli have two daughters: Isabella Rose Giannulli and Olivia Jade Giannulli. Isabella is the older sister, born in 1998, while Olivia Jade was born in 1999.
The sisters grew up in Los Angeles and eventually developed public profiles of their own. Unlike their mother, whose fame came primarily from television and film, the younger Giannullis became associated with social media, fashion, entertainment, and influencer culture.
| Daughter | Known as | Born | Public career |
|---|---|---|---|
| Isabella Rose Giannulli | Bella | 1998 | Acting and fashion |
| Olivia Jade Giannulli | Olivia Jade | 1999 | Social media, beauty and fashion |
The sisters’ connection to Lori Loughlin remains a major reason people search for information about them, but both have developed identities separate from their mother’s acting career.
Olivia Jade Giannulli
Olivia Jade is the younger Lori Loughlin daughter and became a recognizable social media personality before the college admissions scandal. She built an audience around beauty, fashion, lifestyle and vlog content, establishing herself online while still young.
She attended the University of Southern California after graduating from high school in 2018. However, USC confirmed in October 2019 that both Olivia and Isabella were no longer enrolled at the university.
The admissions scandal significantly changed Olivia’s public image. In 2020, she discussed the experience publicly on Red Table Talk, including her decision not to return to USC. Since then, she has continued developing her media presence rather than returning to a conventional university path.
Olivia has also remained visible through entertainment and celebrity coverage. Her public appearances, relationships, fashion interests and social-media activity continue to attract attention.
Isabella Rose Giannulli
Isabella Rose Giannulli, often referred to as Bella, is the older Lori Loughlin daughter. Born in September 1998, she has explored acting and fashion rather than building the same influencer profile as her younger sister.
Bella has appeared in projects including Every Christmas Has a Story and has continued to receive entertainment coverage. Her public profile is comparatively private, although she occasionally appears alongside her mother and sister.
That difference is useful when looking at the family as a whole: Olivia has generally maintained a stronger social-media presence, while Bella has kept a lower public profile.
What Happened With the College Admissions Scandal?
The 2019 college admissions scandal, widely associated with Operation Varsity Blues, placed the Giannulli family under extraordinary scrutiny.
Federal prosecutors accused Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli of paying $500,000 to help their daughters gain admission to USC by portraying them as athletic recruits. Court documents and reporting later detailed evidence involving photographs and communications connected with the scheme.
Loughlin and Giannulli ultimately pleaded guilty in 2020. Loughlin served nearly two months in federal prison, while Giannulli served nearly five months. Their legal cases became one of the most widely covered celebrity elements of the admissions scandal.
It is also important to distinguish the parents’ criminal case from the daughters themselves. The Los Angeles Times reported in 2019 that the sisters were not among the children who had received target letters from federal prosecutors at that stage of the investigation.
How Did the Scandal Affect the Sisters?
The fallout affected both daughters’ education and public lives. Olivia spoke openly about the embarrassment and pressure surrounding the controversy, while Bella largely avoided extensive public commentary.
For anyone researching Lori Loughlin daughter stories, the distinction matters: much of the reporting about the sisters concerns actions attributed to their parents, while their own subsequent careers have developed independently.
💡 Pro Tip: When researching celebrity family stories, check whether a report describes an allegation, a court finding, or a statement from the person involved. That distinction is especially important in coverage of the college admissions case.
